2021年、とある展示会のインスタレーション作品として設計した作品。

会場に置かれたモニターに映し出される演奏家の演奏の身体性によって、音のダイナミクスを想像するサウンドインスタレーション作品。
「聴く」のではなく「視る」サウンドに強くフォーカスを当てることで、音楽が持つ身体的な表現の可能性を探った。

またこの作品にはいくつかのユーモアのアイデアが含まれているが、その一つが、展示会の会期中に、さもライブ映像かのように2,358,000秒も演奏家が演奏し続けているように見せる自然な演技性を要求する。

 

奏者や指揮者が変わることで作品の表情が変わるクラシック音楽のように、奏者によって想像される音のダイナミクスや性質を、身体性と演技性で表現することにより、作品の解釈が画一的にならないよう意識して制作した。​​

 

This sound installation work utilizes the dynamics of sound evoked by the physicality of the performance from the images of the performers projected on a monitor placed in the room. By focusing more strongly on "seeing" rather than "hearing" sound, the work explores the contemporary nature and value of live performances and concerts that share space acoustically, visually, and even with others.
